Obstructions

I did this short comic in my junior year at the School of Visual Arts, in Matt Madden's "Obstacle Course" class. In it, Matt encouraged us to create comics under restrictions. This was the final comic of the year for that class, and embodies many of the things that I learned while there.

The obstructions I placed on myself for this story were (obviously) quite challenging. If you look closely, you'll notice that it's an alphbet comic! What do I mean? pay close attention to how things are drawn, you'll figure it out! My other obstruction was to ink the image (not including text or panel boarders) with one continuous line. You'll see it double it over itself multiple times, loop around, etc.
